Located on the Digby Neck, Sandy Cove is a quiet and unassuming fishing village. It is also home to perhaps the best concentration of novice (V0-6) boulder problems in the province. It is well worth the drive from Halifax: a shoreline of volcanic basalt, completely distinct from any of the rock near the city. Don't be surprised to see Fin Whales, Seals, or Porpoises. Please treat this oasis of tranquility with the respect that it deserves.
